Current and ongoing activities:   President, Wingard Enterprises, Inc.,  A strategic, financial and human resources management and consulting firm, advising and /or investing in early stage ventures involving medical technology, medical devices, start-ups and acquisitions/divestitures in timber and wood preservation ,residential and commercial real estate development,  plus growth management and employee development for a variety of service and manufacturing enterprises, including personal directional involvement  in founding and formation of  business entities .

Partner, The Mobius Associates, specializing in behavioral dynamics:  optimizing performance and fulfillment through serving and leading in large and small institutions; including employees, managers and boards.

Strategy Consultant to University of South Alabama and The Venture Research Institute (California) for FDA approval , clinical trials and marketing of new Cancer Vaccine developed  by USA Medical Research Center.

Director and Vice Chairman, Community Foundation of South Alabama, engaged in managing, administering, and distributing through grants and/or donor advisors, funds for community development, civic, and charitable purposes in Mobile, Baldwin, and surrounding counties.

Director, The Lighthouse, dedicated to elimination of Family Violence in a 3-county area through education, community relations, court advocacy, and protection of victims.

Director, Little Lagoon Preservation Society, engaged in protection of water quality and related issues in Alabama Gulf Coast area.

Director, Defenders of Ft. Morgan, dedicated to preservation and expansion of historical sites on Ft. Morgan peninsula.

Member and Advisor to Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance, seeking new business opportunities for growth and enhancement of Gulf coast area.

Recent and prior relevant experiences:  Koppers Company, Inc. (International)  Senior Corporate Vice President with 35 years in numerous positions in procurement, operating, sales and executive positions in this Fortune 500 diverse world-wide manufacturing, engineering and construction company. Extensive involvement  in Japan, Australia, Turkey and Western European countries. Responsibilities included corporate marketing, purchasing, human resources, transportation, acquisition analysis and strategic planning. Company was acquired by Hanson Industries, Inc. (England) Director and Vice President of KOPVENCO, a venture capital corporation that invested in numerous start-up and early stage ventures  in chemical, robotics, plant genetics, fiber-optics, medical, and a wide variety of early stage university-based research projects, including funding and eventual marketing , divestiture and public offerings when appropriate. Executive Director of The Railway Tie Association, a national timber production trade association involving extensive product promotion, training and publications, trade show management, public speaking and congressional relations. Chairman of Cardiac Telecom Corporation, a continuing company which developed, secured FDA approvals after extensive clinical trials, and is now marketing a unique cardiac monitoring system for use in hospital and home environments.
